Uses of a Business Plan

The Importance of a Business Plan
Some findings from a recent AT&T Small Business study reveal:

Why Plan?
Most businesses do not plan to fail; they fail to plan. Busineses fail for a number of reasons.
Some of the more common are:

Proper planning and the preparation of a business plan will help ensure a successful business venture.

Why a Business Plan?
Any lender or investor, approached for funds for a new business startup or an established business, will request a business plan. They want to determine how the funds will be utilized, and on what basis the business expects to repay the loan. In addition, for your plan to attract funding, it must be well conceived, convincingly written, and professionally presented.

A business plan is also essential to any business NOT seeking capital. Such a plan provides an important way to compare actual results for a period against a predetermined plan. If a variance exists, corrective action can be planned.

Why the Business Plan Group?
Writing your own business plan can be a formidable and time consuming process, one that sometimes creates a feeling of frustration or of being overwhelmed by the task. Done correctly, a professionally prepared plan, including research, documentation, analysis, preparation, and review might take fifty hours or more to complete.

The Business Plan Group is staffed by an expert team of experienced business plan writers, all of whom are also business consultants. As professionals, they can efficiently and expertly custom prepare each business plan to a specific client's situation. Standardized stock, fill-in-the-blanks plans, or software are not used.

It is often said: "You only have one chance to make a good first impression." Why not leave it to The Business Plan Group to do that for you?

Specifically we can provide the following business plan options:
1) we can write the entire business plan
2) we can read, comment, critique and offer suggestions on your draft business plan
3) we can do selected sections of your business plan; for example the financial section or the market and industry
section for instance

The Business Plan Process
A call to the office of The Business Plan Group will initiate the process. One of the plan writers will discuss the process in detail and schedule an initial consultation, for which no fee is charged. Only after a contract is signed and work commences is a fee charged.

We will also assist you in the lending process with contacts and loan package preparation, if desired.
